BS8848 - Is the new national standard for the safe management of overseas ventures. BS 8848 provides a specification for organizing and managing visits, fieldwork, expeditions, and adventurous activities, outside the United Kingdom. Activities undertaken without the appropriate experience or background could be high-risk and dangerous, possibly resulting in injury or worse. It is essential for organisers to apply the principles of good management to ensure risks are reduced whilst travelling overseas. Navigate International offers consultancy to assist Tour Operators and Venture Providers gain compliance to BS8848 and therefore offer peace of mind to those who travel with compliant organisations.
