All our trainers have experience in Safety and Incident Management. Some are seasoned expedition leaders, safety managers or medics who have extensive knowledge of working with teams in difficult situations, often in remote regions of the world. All have comprehensive experience working within corporate environments, which provides them the unique blend necessary to deliver our programmes and maximise their effectiveness. Lloyd Figgins FRGS

Neil Macdonald
Neil is our Technical Director, and is responsible for training and developing staff. One of Neil's main roles within Navigate International is researching course content and developing new ideas. It is Neil's belief that a solid foundation comes from understanding the actions of successful models, and the behaviour of the not so successful. Many people who attend our courses develop a strong interest in the methods we study, and Neil often helps by advising on post course advancement for delegates. Sandy Beatty
Sandy has led over 40 teams in 15 countries and is a specialist in endurance and remote expeditions, with 10 Kilimanjaro summits under his belt already. He has provided leadership and safety training all over the world and been involved in the handling of many “real life” incidents. He once coordinated the successful rescue of multiple casualties from Mt Kenya in poor weather ………………from his desk in the UK! His practical experience is backed up by OCR Level 3 in Off Site Safety Management and a Certificate in Risk Management. An ability to relate to those around him make Sandy an outstanding and likeable trainer. The skills he brings are based on experience and knowledge, making him an invaluable resource for any organisation, as well as being able to recount a good campfire story or two. |
